Knitting
The knitting is done by me ( Christine Stanley) using hand spun with wool from my Blue Faced Leicester sheep and is dyed in my dyeing studio. Each piece is unique and I never repeat colour combinations, so one must come to visit the shop to see all the items
These socks are knit with wool from my (Christine's) elderly Romney sheep named Latifa. The pattern is called Ram's Horn,an ancient design from Turkey. I took the picture on the top of my old cook stove...
